Our Animal World Club is an educational club based around animals and the natural world.
Every session is planned and taught by a fully qualified teacher to help support learning across the National curriculum including Geography, Science, Art and Literacy.
We make sure our sessions are fun, engaging and hands on meeting a wide range of animals such as reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, birds and mammals! (There will be at least one animal guest every week!)
Learn all about these amazing creatures from cool facts about the species to their specific husbandry requirements.
We are an AQA accredited centre which runs the Unit Award Scheme to allow all of our children to achieve through personalised targets. The Unit Award Scheme (UAS) allows all students to engage with learning and have their achievements formally recognised. Students are rewarded with a certificate each time they successfully complete a unit of learning. They can build up a portfolio of certificates to evidence their skills, knowledge and experience.
The scheme helps to boost confidence, increase engagement and improve motivation, helping students to make progress on their lifelong learning journey.
For each group we limit numbers to 16 children per group to ensure all children get the most out of the sessions.
For both venues we will be running afternoon sessions for home educated children, a SEND specific group and then after school groups.

If you have any questions or want to sign your child up to our sessions, please email us club@ouranimalworld.com
Alternatively you WhatsApp or call us on 07519 340788. If you call and no one picks up, please leave a voicemail and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Yes, we have a variety of animals to choose from which you are able to choose to attend. Please note that some are better suited to older children or are visual only. In these cases if you select them, we will confirm with you and if you would still like them then we can arrange this. If not, we will suggest other animals that might be better suited.
We travel up to an hour from IP13.
So we can have up to 30 children, but always suggest about 15. Just be aware that the more children there are, the more the children have to wait around and possibly get bored.
So with under 8s we suggest no more than 1 hour. We do have added extras such as Curiosity Corner or a crafts activity which can be added on as a more active 30mins at the end.
Curiosity Corner is a table full of feathers, reptile sheds (ie. snakes and lizards), insects in resin, fossils and more to be explored in a hands on way with magnifying glasses and microscopes.
Yes we will ask if there are animals that you wish not to attend due to phobias etc and will ensure that animal does not come.
