Childrens’ Parties
We bring the zoo to you in a venue of your choice, be it at home or at a hired venue. We have 10 million in liability insurance.
We also offer our ‘Zoo to You’ van. A complete package for small groups, rotating groups or families without even needing to enter a house! Find out more
We have over 65 different animal species to choose from and you can have a variety of animals visit you. This can be set up within your own venue (be it in your home, a hall, etc) or outside (if you book the Van Experience). We will need access to electrics and/or have enough space for a run if you choose rabbits, guinea pigs or chickens if inside a venue.
We give a quick safety talk before then we introduce each animal, talk a bit about them and include some cool facts that all ages enjoy! We then go round with each animal (unless it is a visual only animal) and let the children get up close with our animal friends.
Our parties are two hours and include:
- 1 hour with up to 10 different animals of your choice (or you can leave it up to us!)
- 30 mins food (provided by you) whilst our staff play some music and walk round answering any questions anyone may have whilst they eat.
- 30 mins of either our Curiosity Corner*, party games (parachute games available only if enough space, but other game available if not) or a craft activity such as designing your own bag or baseball cap, creating foam clay models or animal mask making.
Then, to end the session every child receives an Our Animal World handler’s certificate to keep as a memory.
*Curiosity Corner is a table full of snake and lizard shed, insects in resin, feathers, magnifying glasses, microscopes, fossil digging pit and more!
Our inside a venue 2-hour party is £385 plus mileage.
We charge 50p a mile from our home base and will only travel 1 hour from IP13. Let us know your venue’s postcode and we will let you know if we can attend and how much it would be.

Our limit on numbers for children is 30, however we do suggest 10- 15 due to the time it takes for each child to get a chance to meet the animals. Please be aware the more children there are, the more time they will have to wait in between each animal/for their turn.

Yes, we have a variety of animals to choose from which you are able to choose to attend. Please note that some are better suited to older children or are visual only. In these cases if you select them, we will confirm with you and if you would still like them then we can arrange this. If not, we will suggest other animals that might be better suited.
We travel up to an hour from IP13.
So we can have up to 30 children, but always suggest about 15. Just be aware that the more children there are, the more the children have to wait around and possibly get bored.
So with under 8s we suggest no more than 1 hour. We do have added extras such as Curiosity Corner or a crafts activity which can be added on as a more active 30mins at the end.
Curiosity Corner is a table full of feathers, reptile sheds (ie. snakes and lizards), insects in resin, fossils and more to be explored in a hands on way with magnifying glasses and microscopes.
Yes we will ask if there are animals that you wish not to attend due to phobias etc and will ensure that animal does not come.
