To book Our Animal World for your function or event you can fill in our booking form from this website or call us on 0751 934 0788. Our office hours are 9 am - 8 pm seven days a week. If we are for some reason unavailable, please leave a message or fill out our enquiry form from this website and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible. 


We understand that venues differ from place to place. Due to many of our animals being exotic and coming from warm countries our sessions must be held indoors (unless you book out our van experience which has electricity) with access to electrical sockets to ensure our animals have the correct temperature and lighting.

For homes and small venues which you think meet the criteria will require a photo via email to verify there is enough room for our runs/enclosures. If you have a flat, living area upstairs or there are any stairs between the car park and the venue, please specify upon booking. If we are not made aware the party/event may not be able to go ahead. Our Animal World will not be held responsible if you did not inform us of the correct information and the client would be liable for the full cost of the booking as access may not be possible with all animal types. We may ask for a photograph of any steps that occur.

To comply with our health and safety guidelines, we do provide hand gel but there must be a handwashing facility available for those who can’t use hand gel.

Our animals all have their own travel enclosures and are checked and cleaned daily; so, there is little chance of any bacteria being present. However, we always stress the importance of handwashing when handling animals and the audiences are always given clear instructions at the beginning and end of each show or presentation.

Party packages with games are for large homes or halls only as we need two separate areas/rooms (one for games and one for the animals). During the spring-summer, we can do games and crafts outside in the garden but the animals must have a safe place to stay indoors.

It is imperative that car parking is available either on-site or near the venue. If parking is not available, we may not be able to carry out your booking. If the area of the venue is regularly congested with parked cars or if parking is by meter, we suggest a car be positioned to reserve a space. If there are parking restrictions at the venue, a voucher must be provided by the client.

Metered parking will be charged to you the client. We regret that if parking is not secured for the van, we cannot guarantee the completion of a booking. If this situation arises and a show cannot go ahead, Our Animal World shall not be held liable. The client would be liable for the full cost of the booking.

Please bear in mind the size of the space available. We need access for a large van to park, even if we are not providing the van experience as we still use this as our travel vehicle. If you have booked the van experience, please remember that not only will we need space to park the van, but that we need around 14ft to one side and to the back to ensure full access.


All private bookings, (birthday parties, fate, etc..) must be paid for within the due date on your invoice or within the due by days on your invoice paying by bank transfer. We regret that we are unable to accept cheques from private individuals on or after the visit. For educational establishments, payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. Official groups such as Scouts, Guides etc and corporate events may pay by cheque or cash at the time of the visit. For agencies hiring our services, we must receive payment in advance of the date of the event or from the client on the day. Under no circumstances will we provide credit to any individual, company or establishment. Invoices will be sent on the day the booking is confirmed. This is usually sent by email so please make sure you supply an up-to-date email address.


Due to the high demand for our services please note that we will only accept cancellations in writing by email no later than 30 days prior to the confirmed date. Cancellations via phone/voicemail will not be accepted.

Refunds will not be given if you the client cancel the booking within 28 days of the date booked. After this, it is at Our Animal Worlds discretion.

We will do our best to move your date if required but all bookings made must be paid in full before the change of date takes place.

In the event our presenter is unable to visit due to serious illness we will do our uttermost to send another presenter. If this is not possible, we will seek to find an alternative date to suit you and offer a discount on the overall of the booking to keep clients happy.

In the event of one of our presenters running late for a booking we will contact you well in advance to make you aware and what time to expect our presenter’s arrival, from time to time this does happen but it's never our presenter’s fault due to traffic, road closures etc.

The welfare of our animals is paramount and are displayed in mini versions of their home enclosures/vivariums. We do not travel more than approx. 1 hour for parties from postcode IP13 and all animals are safely transported in our large van which has heating/ heat mats, lighting, air conditioning and extraction fans to ensure good ventilation at all times. We also tie down our animals' enclosures with bungee cords and/or ratchet straps and our specially designed van allows us to watch the animals at all times during transport.

You are able to view the enclosures on our enclosures page on our website or for more pictures you can find these on our Facebook page. Any company you book should be happy to provide this publicly or on request. Please ensure you do this will all animal companies.

In most cases we are able to bring your chosen animals however we will make changes if we feel any animals are not suitable for the age group, they are unable to attend due to circumstances beyond our control or due to weather conditions. We request your animal choices 1 week prior to the party. You are required to choose a mixture of mammals, reptiles and bugs with substitutes should we need to change any for any reason as stated on the booking form.

Fuel is an additional charge of 50p per mile from Framlingham.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we have a variety of animals to choose from which you are able to choose to attend. Please note that some are better suited to older children or are visual only. In these cases if you select them, we will confirm with you and if you would still like them then we can arrange this. If not, we will suggest other animals that might be better suited.

We travel up to an hour from IP13.

So we can have up to 30 children, but always suggest about 15. Just be aware that the more children there are, the more the children have to wait around and possibly get bored.

So with under 8s we suggest no more than 1 hour. We do have added extras such as Curiosity Corner or a crafts activity which can be added on as a more active 30mins at the end.

Curiosity Corner is a table full of feathers, reptile sheds (ie. snakes and lizards), insects in resin, fossils and more to be explored in a hands on way with magnifying glasses and microscopes.

Yes we will ask if there are animals that you wish not to attend due to phobias etc and will ensure that animal does not come.
